Siya sources in the know have revealed that Head Coach Rulani Mokwen is on the verge of making his first new signing at Chippa United.
Mokwena was handed the reigns at Chippa last week, when the former Orlando Pirates assistant coach put pen to paper on a short-term deal that will see him remain at the club until, at least, the end of the season.

While he looks to help Chippa maintain their top-flight status this season, Mokwena is already on the verge of completing his first new signing.
According to Siya sources, Brian Onyango has been offered a deal with the Chilli Boys and he is close to putting pen to paper.
Onyango was recently training under the watchful eye of Head Coach Owen da Gama and his technical team at Highlands Park. However, after some time on trial at the club, he could no longer wait for a decision to be made and stopped training with the Lions of the North on Friday.
Now, it seems that Onyango will finally have the opportunity to get back into action after being without a club since the end of last season.
The Kenyan international was also on trial at Pirates a few months ago, with indications that he was being assessed by Mokwena at the time, although the Bucs opted against offering the player a deal.
However, it seems that Mokwena will finally get his man and it remains to be seen whether Onyango will sign on the dotted line.
