Eagles Sack Five Technical Team Members

National First Division outfit, Royal Eagles, have shown five technical team members the exit door as head coach, Thami Ngubane, seeks to surround himself with people who he’s familiar with.
Assistant coach, Sello “Jomo” Ntuli has been replaced by Ngubane’s former right-hand man at African Warriors, Abram Nteo, while ex-Thanda Royal Zulu physical trainer/physiotherapist, Sthembiso Masonda, has moved down the coast from Richards Bay to Durban.
Richard Makhoba, Eagles’ general manager confirmed the news to Soccer Laduma.
“Ngubane wanted to bring in those that will understand his work ethic,” he said.
"All the guys did nothing wrong, there was no dispute between them and the club, it was just that the coach felt it was wise to bring in people he’s worked with before.”
The other three men no longer on the books of Sbu Mpisane’s club include the veteran masseur, Dougie Sheppard, physiotherapist, Curt Barnes and fitness trainer, Mike Kemp.
“Barnes has been taken by the rugby Sharks,” Makhoba concluded.
