The Siya crew has learned that Chippa United striker, Petrus Ngebo, is on the wanted list of Royal Eagles.
The National First Division side recently changed their name from Sivutsa Stars and have big ambitions for next season, which has resulted in them seeking the services of experienced Major David Bright to lead the team.
Eagles are also beefing up their playing personnel and have identified certain players to help them achieve their goal of being promoted to the PSL. According to sources, they are targeting Ngebo (formerly Mahlatsi) from the Chilli Boys.
The Koppies-born marksman has not been getting much game time at the PSL returnees and would welcome a move to a team where he is guaranteed a regular run, although it is not known whether he will fit into the plans of new coach, Kosta Papic.
Ngebo, 30, made a bright start to his professional career in 2006 at Bloemfontein Celtic, where he was scoring goals consistently. But he has since lost his scoring touch in recent years and will be hoping to rediscover his old form, if indeed the move does go through. Watch this space!
