Royal AM are set to re-evaluate the futures of a number of their first-team players in the new year, the Siya crew has reliably been informed.
John Maduka’s ambitious outfit have enjoyed a decent start to their ‘maiden’ topflight season despite their shaky start to the campaign.
The club had to overcome the challenge of hastily combining the existing Royal AM GladAfrica Championship squad that finished as runners-up behind Sekhukhune United and the Bloemfontein Celtic squad that had been purchased by Shauwn Mkhize.
As a result, Royal AM ended up with a squad of over 45 players!
Now, the latest news reaching the Siya crew is that the KZN -based outfit are planning to trim down their squad to a manageable size in 2022.
A number of players whose contract with the club is set to come to an end in June next year could be offloaded.
The Siya crew has been informed that the likes of Moffat Mdluli, Ronald Pfumbidzai and Siphelele Luthuli are amongst those whose futures are being considered with the trio hardly featuring in Maduka’s plans this season.
As reported by the Siya crew, Royal AM are believed to be interested in the services of Shaun Mogaila whose contract is set to expire at TS Galaxy in June next year.
