Royal AM have set the record straight on transfer reports linking Victor Letsoalo to Kaizer Chiefs.
Letsoalo has been the club's key player this season as he is currently among the contenders for top goalscorer, which fuelled talks of a move to Gauteng.
With long-term admirers Kaizer Chiefs understood to be interested the star, talks gained momentum that Amakhosi are keen to secure the services of the Bafana Bafana striker.
The Siya crew reported in November last year, that alongside Chiefs, Orlando Pirates were in a two-horse race for the player's signature.
Royal AM released a statement on their official Instagram account, addessing talks of negotiating with Amakhosi for a possible move for their star player.
The club further revealed that Letsoalo has extended his stay at the club for another two years.
"Royal AM wishes to distance itself from all media statements in both print and electronic, about the imminent sale of Victor Letsaolo to Kaizer Chiefs," the club announced in a press release on Thursday morning.
"The player is contracted to us and we have exercised our option until 2023," the statement read, in part.
