Struggling NFD side, Roses United, has signed four former PSL players as they try to revive the team and avoid relegation.
According to our sources, Amaroza have signed Joseph Henyekane, Posnett Omony, Luyanda Hlongwa and Luyolo Mapolisa have all signed for the NFD side until the end of the season.
The players have joined former Kaizer Chiefs defender, Mokete Tsotetsi, who joined the Bloemfontein-side this week following a successful trial.
The news have been confirmed by their agent, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, of Rush Hour Sports Management.
“I’d like to thank the club owner, Max Tshabalala, for giving us good offers, and coach Clinton Larsen for giving my players a chance. Other clubs wrote them off but the club decided to give them a chance. I’m confident that these players will save Roses. They’re happy and ready to play,” said Mulovhedzi.
Amaroza are sitting at the bottom of the standings with 15 points after 24 games.
