Orlando Pirates midfielder Roger Majafa is looking up to Lucky Lekgwathi for inspiration, as he plans to make a name for himself at the club. Majafa is one of the new players at Pirates this season.
The 25-year-old, who played for Polokwane City last season, has been expanding his experience with learning from senior players at Pirates, while competing for game-time under Eric Tinkler and his technical team.
Majafa is one of the Pirates players that were involved in the club’s promotional campaign of their Energy Drink around Johannesburg on Friday, alongside Lekgwathi, Oupa Manyisa, Brighton Mhlongo and Yasser Mugwerwa.
“The fans love Lucky because of what he has done for the team and his career as a whole. It’s inspiring to me as a younger player.
“Lucky always talks about duty as players and I saw what he meant. He was in the crowd and chatting. He loves it as much as the fans (Edited),” Majafa is quoted saying on the club’s official Twitter account.
Majafa has made one start and a few substitute appearances for Bucs so far in the 2015/16 season.
