With the 2014 World Cup just a matter of months away, some of the biggest stars on the planet are going to display their talents in Brazil.
After winning the Ballon d'Or, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently seen as the best player in the world. He will have a huge role to play for Portugal when they come up against Germany, Ghana and USA in Group G.
The incredibly prolific Real Madrid superstar has already plundered 44 goals in his club's current campaign, and he is likely to bring this form to the Navigators in June.
Current Ajax Cape Town coach, Roger de Sa, once worked closely with Ronaldo when he was an assistant to Carlos Quieroz for Portugal. With an eye on the World Cup in Brazil, we asked the coach what it is that sets the player apart.
He said, "He's an ubelievable professional with a work ethic at training that is second to none. People have to realize why he is that good. I don't think he was born with it, I think he has had to work on it. I've seen at training sessions how much he puts in. He even took my advice. He listens, he works and he puts it in. There's no holding back! Obviously, he spends a lot of time fixing his hair but that's a marketing tool. So, good luck to him in Brazil."
