De Sa Set For PSL Return
Roger de Sa is back on the market and considering his next move after a couple of job opportunities arose for the former Orlando Pirates head coach.
De Sa left Maritzburg United for personal reasons back in March after a short spell at the club, with the club stating that he ‘had to go back to Cape Town to attend to family commitments’.
Now, with the 2016/17 season drawing to a close, the Siya crew tracked down the player’s agent, Steve Kapelushnik, who confirmed that there are some irons in the fire as De Sa looks to get back into the game in the coming months.
Kapeluschnik told the crew, “Roger has gotten his personal affairs in order now and he’s looking forward to being back in the PSL again next season. There have already been a couple of options put forward for him and he’s weighing things up as we speak.”
The former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper has been in charge of Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Maritzburg over the past few years and was recently linked the vacant head coaching position with the South African national team following Shakes Mashaba’s departure.
