Ajax Cape Town striker, Eleazar Rodgers, reveals that their aim going into tonight's match against Moroka Swallows, is to claim the three points.
Rodgers was speaking ahead of this second round crucial encounter, after the Urban Warriors lost 3-1 in their own backyard.
“We had a good week in preparation for this one. We aim to play better and get a positive results. Our mission it not to lose to them twice, we respect Swallows as a good team, but it’s our turn now. In order to build our confidence and be able to wrap the season in a respectable position, we must win.
“We come from a disappointing performance against Mpumalanga Black Aces. That was our worst performance this season, but we’ve trained hard and I hope we’ll take that to the game. We are not going to Dobsonville to make life easy for Swallows. They haven’t been doing well I know and they just won on Tuesday to Platinum Stars. We just have to beat them this time,” said the former Santos man.
However, the Roger De Sa-led team will be without the services of skipper, Dominic Isaacs, Abbubaker Mobara, Koen van de Laak, and Tasreeq Morris is out with a suspension.
The game gets underway tonight at Dobsonville Stadium at 20:00
