An Ajax Cape Town youth development product has put clubs in the PSL on high alert after confirming his exit from Cape Town Spurs.
Riyaad Norodien took to Instagram to confirm his exit from Spurs, just seven months after joining them from Cape Umoya United in October last year.
“My love for you will never die. Free Agent,” he captioned his post.
The winger managed 13 appearances in all competitions for the Cape outfit last season, eight of them as a starter as they finished in a disappointing 14th position.
Norodien has spent the last year and a half in the country’s second division following his exit from Cape Town City in February 2020.
Still only 26, the winger has proven that he is one of the best attacking talents in the country and will undoubtedly be an enticing prospect for DStv Premiership clubs looking to bolster their squad in the new season.
Meanwhile, Spurs have unveiled their new-look technical team for the 2021/22 season, which comprises of Dylan Deane, who was appointed as head coach at the end of April. He will be assisted by former Bafana Bafana defender Nasief Morris, while Calvin Marlin has been named as the club’s goalkeeper coach.
