Rivaldo Coetzee got more minutes under his belt, turning out for the club’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge side.
The 21-year-old Bafana Bafana international spent more than a year on the sidelines, battling with an injury to his foot that seemed almost impossible to fix.

Head Coach Pitso Mosimane previously expressed his concern about Coetzee, revealing that the club is eager to send the centre-back anywhere in the world in order to get the help that he needs.
“But we at Sundowns, we are patient, it is not easy when you spend so much money on him, but that is football remember, so, shame man and he plays for Bafana,” Mosimane told the media back in August.
“He should be helping us, I told him that he needs to pray a lot, maybe these things can change you never know. If you guys know anyone who can help, support. We will put him on any flight in the world to get him better, he is 21 years, he can still stay two years without playing to get better, very sad,” he added.
However, it seems that Coetzee looks to be on the road to making a full return and his official debut for the Sundowns first team.
The centre-back has been turning out for Masandawana’s MDC side in their past two fixtures and it remains to be seen whether he will be fit enough to potentially make an appearance in the Brazilians’ first team.
