Kaizer Chiefs defender, Keegan Ritchie, is close to finalising his move to Slavia Prague, and will undergo a medical with them in the Czech Republic today.
The Siya crew revealed last month that the Czech side had submitted a bid for the left back having become interested in acquiring his services, with Chiefs later explaining that the offer had been accepted.
Now, after negotiations between Ritchie, his agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, and the club themselves, personal terms have finally been agreed on, and Ritchie will complete the move in the next few days, subject to his medical today.
Kapeluschnik confirmed the news to the crew, saying, “Keegan left South Africa for the Czech Republic last night having agreed personal terms with Slavia Prague. He’ll undergo a medical with them today before flying to Turkey to take part in their training camp there.”
Meanwhile, the player himself has expressed his gratitude to his Stuart Baxter and Bobby Motaung, he said, “I want to thank Stuart Baxter, under whom I’ve really enjoyed working, and Bobby Motaung for giving me the opportunity to pursue my dream of playing abroad.”
Ritchie will join Moroka Swallows defender, Roger da Costa, in Turkey, with the centre back currently undergoing a trial with ‘Cervenobill’.
