Kaizer Chiefs defender, Keegan Ritchie, still needs to iron out personal terms before sealing his move to Czech club, Slavia Prague.
The Siya crew reported at the beginning of the month that the Slavia had submitted a bid to Chiefs in an attempt to sign the full-back, and it was then confirmed later in the month that the bid had been accepted.
Now it is down to Ritchie to agree personal terms with the three-time Gambrinus Liga champions as he seeks to complete his move to Europe.
His agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, says that he is currently in the process of finalising the deal.
He told the Siya crew, “The clubs have basically agreed terms, we’re just trying to now work out some of the other aspects of the deal. We need to iron out the player’s personal terms with Slavia and I’m currently working on that as we speak.”
Ritchie’s contract at Naturena is due to expire in June, so Chiefs have no doubt opted to allow him to leave now, rather than lose him for free in six months time.
Slavia finished 7th overall in the league last season, and are currently sat in 11th place on the league standings.
Is Slavia Prague a good move for Ritchie?
