Kaizer Chiefs defender, Keegan Ritchie, has completed his move to Czech side, Slavia Prague, signing a four and a half year deal.
The Siya crew reported recently that the left back was on the verge of finalising his move having agreed on personal terms, with just his medical examination standing in the way.
Now it has been confirmed by Slavia’s Twitter account that the 23-year-old is officially one of their own, and will now leave for Turkey to join up with their training camp.
In Turkey, Ritchie will meet fellow South African, Roger da Costa, who is currently on trial with Červenobílí.
Slavia are currently in the midst of a mid-season break, though Ritchie could make his debut for the club later this month when they take on Sigma Olomouc on February 22nd.
Ritchie’s new club are currently placed 11th in the Czech Gambrinus Liga, though they will be hoping to boost their league position with the acquisition of their new South African import.
