TS Galaxy face Kaizer Chiefs in a crucial DStv Premiership encounter and are looking to add to Amakhosi's woes, according to one of the team's young stars.
The Rockets head into the clash on the back of a win over Orlando Pirates and a goalless draw against Chippa United.
Galaxy defender Macbeth Mahlangu says they looking to finish in the top eight like Kaizer Chiefs and they won't allow to lose that position.
"We want to finish in the top eight, we in a very good space and it won't be easy to lose on Saturday, we know what is at stake and we won't let it slip as we want top eight too," Mahlangu tells Siya crew.
The 19-year-old defender has been rewarded for his great season with a PSL award nomination for the Young Player Of The Season, but he insists the nomination came as a shock.
"'I'm very happy to be nominated in the PSL player of the season award, i just want to thank God and I wasn't expecting it. I guess it all about working hard," he added.
"Hard work really made me get nomination, I'm also happy to get national team call up, it always a dream of mine to play in the DStv Premiership and national team."
Being a youngster in the PSL can be hard to get minutes, although Mahlangu says having a good attitude and teammates really helped him to achieve what he has achieved at his age.
"I needed to maintain my place in the team, make sure I always work hard which has resulted to this recognition and teammates are helping me a lot and i want to finish strong," he concluded.
