Yesterday (Monday), The Buccaneers confirmed signing nine new players from different clubs in the PSL.

The new arrivals, as confirmed by the Soweto giants, are Brilliant Khuzwayo, Vincent Pule, Ben Motshwari, Meshack Maphangule, Asavela Mbekile, Linda Mntambo, Abel Mabaso, Paseka Mako and Kudakwashe Mahachi.

In welcoming the players at their new club, Pirates’ assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena has told them about the importance of looking beyond being a footballer and what happens on the football pitch.

“You are a footballer for 90 minutes. The rest of the time you are a human being. We are going beyond football and what happens on the pitch here. We are focused on developing good human beings,” Mokwena is quoted as saying on the club’s official Twitter account.

“Don't think less of yourself, think less about yourself. We do whatever it takes for this badge, we serve this badge,” added Mokwena as quoted by the club.

@Ndlazitha I think you missed the point or you cannot read. I would like to refer you to what Floyd Mbhele above mention. I quote "These are players that we identified by the technical team". I still quote " identified by the technical team". Please learn to read before you comment. That's what happen when you get involve into some other people's issues and not yours.

Rhulani must go to SuperSport and stop taking credit for the head coach's tactics...Take the challenge and grow as a coach. That speech does not work cause its PieRats players that are taking cocaine, shooting at the mall or pointing firearm at a party, leaving wives for abo Kelly

We welcome them but at the same time be careful not change something that was already working and thats exactly why we failed to qualify for top 8 season before, management destroyed the team that won treble. I still want to c more of Lorch and Qalinge as wingers and Mulenga with Shonge as strikers. Khuzwayo,Mbekile and Pule, Mahatji best signing so far.

Now that we have Khuzwayo whom I believe is one of the best goalkeeper in SA we are safe competition is stiff which is good for the team. Pule, Mahachi, Motshwari, Mbekile, Mako, Mntambo, Maphangule, Mabaso. If Nyatama and Mlambo did it what can stop you from making it in your 1st year, impossible is nothing with God and hard work everything is possible.
