Free State Stars defender Reuben Thebakang remains positive that the team will win and get out of the unfavourable situation at the bottom half of the log.
Ea Lla Koto moved down to 15th on the Absa Premiership table, following the team’s 2-1 loss to SuperSport United last Wednesday.
“We played well and had our chances to win the game. There was a time when we went one on one with the goalkeeper and didn’t score. The guys tried everything and were just unfortunate. We were just unlucky with the own goal we conceded. We are playing well and it’s just the little mistakes we do that always cost us,” said Thebakang.
The team’s next game is against the University of Pretoria on April 16. The Bethlehem outfit is still waiting to see if the injured duo of Themba Shabalala and Ayanda Mtshali will be fit for the game.
