It was reported by dailysportsmedia.com today that Shaban, who scored 13 goals as KCCA FC finished second in Uganda's Premier League last season, is wanted by Milutin Sredojevic after they worked together during Micho's spell at the Ugandan national team.
The website says that the 20-year-old striker is due to sign a three-year deal with the Buccaneers and has already arrived in South Africa to undergo his medical at the club.
Pirates have already completed moves for Brilliant Khuzwayo, Vincent Pule, Ben Motshwari, Meshack Maphangule, Asavela Mbekile, Linda Mntambo, Abel Mabaso, Paseka Mako and Kudakwashe Mahachi, although it appears that they're not done signing just yet.
The Siya crew will continue to look into the situation to see if Shaban will indeed make the move to Parktown before the 2018/19 season begins.
