The Siya crew spoke to a prominent Celtic supporter who claimed they were protesting against club owner and Chairman, Max Tshabalala.
According to the fan, the fans have boycotted number of games this season but to no avail.
For today’s game, they decided to protest at the Dr Molemela Stadium, as they believe that their boycotts did not have any impact.
According to the supporters, they have requested a meeting with Tshabalala in order to discuss the future of the club, although their request was not met.
While the club remain in contention for a top-eight in the Absa Premiership this season, things have not gone smoothly off the field due to their financial issues.
Earlier in the season, players had refused to train after not being paid wages while there was also talk of some of Celtic's home matches being played in the Eastern Cape, with talk of proposed sale of the PSL status.
With talk of the club being sold in the past, the possibility of relocating the team has also been mentioned.
The Celtic fans have made it clear that they do not want the club to be relocated, and following today’s scenes in Bloemfontein it is clear that a faction of fans are disgruntled with the the way the club is being run.
The Siya crew will continue to to investigate and keep you updated.
