Orlando Pirates coach Roger de Sa admits that he was not pleased with their finishing against Polokwane City but was happy to secure all three points.
The Sea Robbers recorded a 1-0 win over the basement dwellers, and with tough encounters coming up against Al Ahly in the Champions League and Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8, De Sa is hoping that the winning trend will continue.
"I thought we started off missing a sitter in the first minute and then you get the feeling that it's going to be one of those nights. It almost was, but thanks to Rooi (Mahamutsa) he got us out with one of the few shots on target," he said.
"It was disappointing in that aspect, but it was always going to be difficult to get the guys hyped up with the two games coming up. And when it starts going that way in the beginning, we lose some of the impetus and in the end we just did enough for the three points. We've got to be happy with that.
"We did rotate a few (players), but it's all players who are ready to come in at any time so it wasn't a question of weakening the team at all. It was still a very strong team.
"We tried to hide away everything and focus on tonight. We got away with it, we got the three points we needed. To be honest I'll take 1-0 wins in the next three games any day - but I think a little bit less stressful will be nice.
"Now we have to focus on doing it for the nation on Sunday and looking to get into the final (of the MTN8) as well."
