Orlando Pirates coach Roger De Sa says that his side should have scored against Al Ahly as they played out a 0-0 draw but was pleased to progress to the semi-finals.
The Sea Robbers came into the game under a bit of pressure but in the end a point proved to be enough with AC Leopards being hammered 4-1 by Zamalek at the same time.
De Sa was pleased to make it into the final four and says that they will now have a go at making it into the showpiece match.
"It was pretty good (the performance), I thought we deserved a goal. I think the chances we had... at this level you have to put the ball away. We had some great chances and you are not going to get too many chances against these teams. We should have put one away," he said.
"But we are in the semi-finals, and that's what we set out to do. We would have liked to have finished at the top of the group, but Al Ahly are great as well. But, let's have a go.
"We wanted to try and get a goal, we played to win. As we found the result in Egypt and we knew a draw was enough we started to slow down a bit. But we still had some great chances.
"Hopefully we've done the country proud. We've qualified for a change, and we can keep the flag flying. We'll keep on going."
