Bafana Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie is eligible to receive a winner's medal from Sweden, should his former team Malmo FF claim the title.
Rantie signed for English Championship side AFC Bournemouth before the close of the last transfer window, but had played a vital role for Malmo prior to that.
The Stars of Africa graduate played 20 league games in Sweden before leaving for England, scoring seven goals along the way and helping to create a number of goals.
Having contacted the Swedish FA for clarification, the Siya crew can confirm that Rantie is eligible for a winner's medal should Malmo clinch the title in the last two games.
As it stands, Di Blae need just three points from their last couple of games to secure the Allsvenskan trophy, although they will also win if AIK and IFK Goteborg drop any points in their last two encounters.
Rantie left Malmo on a high note, with the Swedish fans extremely sad to see him leave, and there is no doubt that they’ll be eager to reward him with a medal for the role he played in their season, should they win it.

Although he has put in a number of fine performances for Eddie Howe's side, the 23-year-old is yet to score for The Cherries in England, something that he knows needs to change.
Speaking to the Bournemouth Echo Rantie said, “I have to score goals and have to prove myself in English football. It has been a big step for me and is different from where I came. Once the first one goes in, they will keep coming because I have so much confidence in myself so, hopefully, it will be soon.”
While he may not have scored for Bournemouth, Rantie has grabbed three assists in his five starts, endearing himself to Howe and the Cherries’ faithful.
