Mamelodi Sundowns have been boosted by the return to fitness of captain, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, who has been out for two months.
'Rama' suffered an ankle injury in the Brazilians match against Kaizer Chiefs in January and, now a source at the club has revealed that the former AmaTuks man is back at training
“Rama is back in training. This is a boost to the team,” the source told the Siya crew.
The source added that the 26-year-old will soon be back in the team and will need to regain match fitness, but his return could happen sooner rather than later.
“I think he has trained for almost a week now and it's just a matter of him getting to the right fitness levels before he can be given a chance to play in an official match, but he is fit and ready to play now," the source observed.
Mphahlele has made 12 appearances in this season’s PSL for Sundowns and has registered two assists.
