PSL Tweets Of The Week

It’s been another busy week in South African football, with the PSL transfer window coming to a close and a shocking departure from one of South Africa’s biggest clubs.

Roger de Sa, after leading Orlando Pirates to three cup finals, handed in his resignation:

His agent wished the player all the best alongside his new teammate, George Maluleka:

Doncaster Rovers’ Bafana international, Dean Furman, wished his compatriot, Andile Jali, well in Belgium:
@de4no22: “@andilejali870 congrats on the move mate and welcome to Europe... All the best in Belgium!”

While his future teammate, Michael Morton, pledged his best to Maritzburg United:
@MMORTON6: “Thanks for all the great messages! First and foremost I am a @MaritzburgUtd player and I will give everything to the club in my time left!”

As the PSL window came to a close, the league’s General Manager tweeted his take on matters:
@derek049: “It's interesting when the transfers that I have been reading about finally land on my desk :)”

AmaZulu’s new signing, Tshepo Liphoko, thanked his former club, Orlando Pirates:
@ts4lyf7: “I won't forget the years I spent at orlando pirates startd as a development player till the 1st team 7years of hard working. thank u pirates”
