PSL Tweets of the Week

It’s Monday, which means it’s time for the top 10 Tweets of the Week from South African football.

The big news this week was the departure of Orlando Pirates midfielder, Andile Jali, for Belgian club, KV Oostende, although that wasn’t the only thing that happened.
Jali’s new club were quick to welcome him to Belgium:

While his agent, Mike Makaab, was quick to point out the main reason why Oostende was chosen:

Paschalis Tountouris, the agent that travelled to Belgium with Jali, also had his say:

And his former teammate, Kermit Erasmus, moved swiftly to congratulate him:

Itumeleng Khune urged people to stay behind Bafana, despite the disappointing CHAN tournament:

Thought there was a set back for Banyana Banyana:

Finally, the PSL confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs had claimed the Q2 title following their win over Mamelodi Sundowns:
