PSL Tweets Of The Week

It’s Monday, which means it’s time for the top 10 Tweets of the Week from South African football. 

It was a busy week in South African football, with lots of PSL football, as well as a Champions League goal from Bafana’s Thulani Serero. 

Also, Kaizer Chiefs defender, Morgan Gould, was suspended by the PSL for a punch on Wits’ Getaneh Kebede. On the matter he said:

While there was better news for Serero, with several of his international teammates praising him for his goal against Barcelona:

Although it was a bad week for Steve Komphela, with him being fired from Free State stars after the loss to Chiefs:

It was a bitter sweet week for Pirates, beating Maritzburg United before losing to Bloemfontein Celtic, but after the first win their defender praised his teammate, Collins Mbesuma. He said:

While SuperSport United goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams, with dealt a blow with his injury news:

The man who replaced him, Rowen Fernandez, praised Ajax Cape Town after Matsatsantsa’s PSL loss:

Although Maritzburg captain, Michael Morton, was shocked at Bevan Fransman’s dismissal in the game:

Meanwhile, Simphiwe Tshabalala made his 200th Chiefs appearance in the win over Free State Stars:
