Mpumalanga Black Aces, Ajax Cape Town and University of Pretoria have all enquired about the availability of SuperSport United defender, Davis Nkausu.
The 28-year-old Zambian has featured in just eight games for Matsatsantsa in all competitions so far this season, and didn’t even make the match day squad for their 2-1 win over Orlando Pirates last weekend.
However, it seems that SuperSport are waiting to hear the extent of Edwin Gyimah’s injury before deciding whether to allow him to leave or not.
Speaking to the Siya crew, the club’s CEO, Stan Matthews, said, “There is interest in Davis, and we’ve had enquiries from Aces, Ajax and Tuks, but we need to see what happens with Edwin before we can make a decision.”
Cavin Johnson’s side leapt to fourth in the PSL with their recent win over the Buccaneers, but could have a hectic schedule in the coming months due to their commitments in the league, Nedbank Cup and CAF Confederation Cup.
