With PSL players arriving late from Bafana Bafana duty in Central America, it is understood that the Premier Soccer League could reschedule some of the fixtures this weekend.
The players in Shakes Mashaba’s squad are only scheduled to return from international duty on Saturday, following their trip to Central America to play the likes of Costa Rica and Honduras.
This means that Kaizer Chiefs will not have the likes of Itumeleng Khune, Eric Mathoho and George Lebese available to train with the squad until the day of their game against Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Meanwhile, Bidvest Wits (four players), SuperSport United (three), Mamelodi Sundowns (two), Ajax Cape Town (two) and Mpumalanga Black Aces (one) will all be without their players until Saturday as they prepare for their respective fixtures in Round 7 of the PSL this weekend.
It remains to be seen whether the PSL will decide to reschedule the games.
Soccer Laduma is currently awaiting on an announcement from the league and will keep you updated on the latest developments regarding this situation.
