Bidvest Wits continued their run of good form in the Absa Premiership after a 2-0 victory over Moroka Swallows on Tuesday night.
The traveling side came into the match after a 2-1 win against Maritzburg United and looked confident of victory as they set to work against Swallows.
Wits created the first chance of the game whem Jabulani Shongwe unleashed the first shot on goal in the seventh minute, but the midfielder was unable to beat Greg Etafia in the Swallows goal.
The Cleverboys opened the scoring in the 23rd minute when Kees Kwakman found the back of the net to put the visitors ahead after a corner kick from Sameegh Doutie.
Shortly after the half-time break, another corner kick from Sameegh Doutie picked out Kees Kwakman who headed home the finish to put the away side two goals clear.
Swallows created a number of chances to get themselves back into the clash, but they simply could not find the decisive strike and had to accept their defeat in front of their home support.
