SuperSport came from a goal down, to earn a point in their 1-1 draw against Platinum Stars at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday in an Absa Premiership clash.
With just a few minutes played, the referee postponed the game at the Lucas Moripe Stadium for 10 minutes due to floodlight failure.
Dino Ndlovu had the first chance of the game after the restart but his effort did not test Siyabonga Mpontshane in the Platinum Stars goal.
Siphelele Mthembu opened the scoring at the Lucas Moripe Stadium with 36 minutes on the clock to give Platinum Stars a 1-0 lead.
Mogakolodi Ngele then came close to adding to Stars lead but his attempt went high and wide of the target as the second-half resumed.
SuperSport United then levelled matters when Thuso Phala slotted home a right-footed finish after latching onto a pass from Aupa Moeketsi with just over an hour to make to make it 1-1.
Thato Mokeke almost gave the home side the lead two minutes later but was unlucky not to find the target with his effort.
Siphelele Mthembu had a chance to retake the lead when he got his head onto a Mduduzi Nyanda cross but his header went just over the crossbar.
Mor Diouf then swung in a dangerous cross which substitute Joao Gomes Oliveira did well to get his head to but it went well over the target leaving both teams to share a point apiece.
