Polokwane City and Maritzburg United played out to an unentertaining 1-1 draw at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in their Absa Premiership clash on Wednesday, with both sides struggling to create much going forward.
City’s defender Thapelo Tshilo had the first shot of the game in the third minute but his effort went just wide of the target.

Forward Heinrich Isaacks stepped up and confidently slotted home from the penalty spot to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Thamsanqa Mkhize came close to doubling the visitors lead but his header from a Isaacks cross went over the crossbar in the 30th minute.
Rise and Shine then grabbed their equaliser with just three minutes played in the second period as Sipho Jembula slotting home after combining well with Galabgwe Moyana, making it 1-1.
Both sides struggled to create much as the game progressed, with a paltry four shots taken throughout the entire 90 minutes.
