A late equaliser from Polokwane City saw them draw 1-1 with Chippa United in their Absa Premiership clash on Wednesday.
The hosts had the first real chance to take the lead in the 11th minute when James Okwuosa directed a header at goal but the effort was too high and cleared the bar.
Polokwane had chances of their own just past the 20-minute mark but both Tshepo Molala and Rendani Ndou put their shots over the goal.
William Twala had a rare shot on target for the Chilli Boys in the 39th minute but Modiri Marumo was up to the challenge and parried the ball away from danger.
The breakthrough finally arrived eight minutes into the second half as Chippa hit the front. Mhlengi Cele latched onto George Akpabio's pass and found the back of the net to make it 1-0.
Polokwane levelled matters in the 82nd minute. Okwuosa fouled Puleng Tlolane to earn the visitors a free kick that Jabu Maluleke netted with a direct shot to share the spoils.
