Absa Premiership
Result: Ajax 2-1 Black Aces
Date: 11 March 2015
Venue: Cape Town Stadium
Ajax Cape Town came back from a goal down to beat Mpumalanga Black Aces 2-1 in their Absa Premiership clash on Wednesday.
Amazayoni hit the front in the 23rd minute as they took advantage of a corner kick. Aubrey Ngoma took the set-piece and Collins Mbesuma played it on for Zamuxolo Ngalo to head home and break the deadlock.
The Urban Warriors levelled matters in the 67th minute via the penalty spot. Edwin Gyimah fouled Bantu Mzwakali in the area, earning Ajax a penalty. Nathan Paulse took the responsibility for the spot-kick and netted the equaliser.
Disaster struck for the visitors in the 78th minute. A dangerous cross from Mzwakali was intercepted by Siboniso Gumede, but unfortunately for Aces his touch let him down and he put the ball into his own net to give Ajax the lead.
The hosts held on to the fragile advantage to collect all three points and record their second consecutive victory in the league.
