A player with the potential to be a top signing has been identified by one of the PSL's struggling teams this season.
Black Leopards have identified a need to reinforce their defence with experienced players, after conceding 11 goals in five matches thus far.
So far the Limpopo outfit has identified Namibian defender Chris Katjiukua as a potential signing for Joel Masutha’s team as they aim to move up the PSL log.
Since their 1-0 win in the first match of the season against Polokwane City, Leopards have not kept any other clean sheet from five matches in succession.
The team has conceded a whopping 11 goals from five matches against Highlands Park (2-2), Chippa United (2-2), Orlando Pirates (1-2), Bloemfontein Celtic (0-1) and SuperSport United (0-4).
Lidoda Duvha are at the basement of the log with only five points from a possible 18 they could have collected from their six matches.
In their way of attempting to improve their defence, Leopards are looking at the possibility of adding Katjiukua to the team.
According to sources in the know, the 30-year-old former Golden Arrows and Highlands Park player has been training with the side and could be signed in the coming weeks, should everything go according to plan.
