Date: 29 March 2014
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Three points will be at stake when Polokwane City host Free State Stars in the Absa Premiership encounter set for Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday evening.
Stars head to the match on 14th position with 20 points from 22 matches and just one point ahead of City who are in 15th place with 19 points from 23 matches.
The Free State-based side will also draw strength from their previous three matches where they beat high-riding Bidvest Wits 3-1, played a 1-all draw against Ajax Cape Town, before suffering a 1-2 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns.
The visitors will also welcome Richard Henyekane back into the team after missing last week match against parent club, Sundowns.
Boebie Solomons’ side on the other hand have lost all of their last three matches.
They enjoy a seven points advantage over bottom-of-the-table Golden Arrows, who are also in action tonight against Wits.
City will be boosted by the return of their top goal-scorer Puleng Tlolane, who returns alongside Tlou Molekwane after serving suspensions.
Stars won the first round match played in the Free State 1-0.
