PSL’s Player Of The Month On ‘Very Tough Season’
PSL Player Of The Month Speaks On His Season
The 2017/18 PSL season has been the toughest so far in the career for a Golden Arrows striker, as confirmed by the player.
Lerato Lamola, who received the Player of the Month award for May from the PSL, is grateful to his Arrows’ teammates for their support despite describing the recently finished season as the toughest he has ever experienced.
Abafana Bes’thende finished the season in 8th place, with eight wins from 30 matches. In accepting his PSL’s monthly gong earlier this week, Lamola acknowledged the contribution of his coaches and teammates at the KwaZulu-Natal club in helping him to be the player he is.
“First of all, I just want to say thanks to the judges who nominated me. It is a very, very good opportunity for me to get this award. You know, to achieve something individually is always nice, but credit must also go to my teammates, you know. They help me a lot. If it wasn’t for them and the coaches, and the Golden Arrows family, it wasn’t going to be possible,” said the 31-year-old forward.
