Jomo Cosmos were promoted to the Premier Soccer League, after they defeated Moroka Swallows 1-0 at the Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday evening.
 
Cosmos nearly opened the scoring just after two minutes, but Madonsela's saw his curling effort palmed away by Obren Cuckovic.
 
Jomo Sono's side were dealt a blow in the 13th when Sithole had to be replaced after picking up an injury, He was replaced by Wiseman Maluleke.
 
The visitors went close in the 29th minute when Charlton Mashumba beat his marker at the front post, before poking an effort just wide of the upright.
 
Swallows dominated for most of the first half without creating much in the final third, although they were forced to play the rest of the game with 10 men, after Lerato Chabangu was shown a straight red for late challenge.
 
The score remained 0-0 at the halftime break.
 
Cuckovic was called into action shortly after the halftime break, as he did well to keep out Mashumba's curling free-kick from 20-yards out.
 
Cosmos nearly broke the deadlock in the 54th minute, but Cuckovic was forced into a save from close range, before Rudi Isaac's cleared an effort off the line.
 
Sono's men eventually went ahead in the 76th minute when Pentjie Zulu delightfully picked out Maluleke, who side-footed home into the far corner from close range.
 
Swallows continued to see more of the ball, despite being a man down, although they failed to bypass a stubborn Cosmos defence.
 
Ezenkosi held on to claim the three points to secure promotion to the top flight, where they will join National First Division champions, Golden Arrows.
