SuperSport Scrape Past Free State

SuperSport United came from a goal down to beat Free State Stars 2-1 in their Absa Premiership encounter at the Charles Mopeli Stadium.
The win sees Cavin Johnson's men jump up to fourth on the Absa Premiership log, while Ea Lla Koto remain in 15th.
Stars' Lehlohonolo Thebakang was presented with the first effort of the match in the ninth minute, but the midfielder's effort from close range was blocked by Thabo Moloi.
Morne Nel came to SuperSport's rescue two minutes later as he managed to clear a header off the line, after Ronwen Williams had initially pulled off a good save.
The home side took the lead in the 20th minute through Camaldine Abraw's towering header, after the striker got on the end of Richard Henyekane's corner.
The visitors equalised 10 minutes later, as Ennocent Mkhabela did well to dummy a defender before slotting home from close range.
Cavin Johnson's side squandered a opportunity to go into the halftime break in the lead as Morne Nel placed his effort wide of the mark from close range.
Angelo Kerspuy tried his luck from distance six minutes after the restart but the Stars' midfielder fired his effort well wide of the target.
Mor Diouf was next to have a go from distance in the 58th minute as the SuperSport midfielder fired an effort straight at Tshepo Motsoeneng.
Williams to came to the visitors rescue once again in the 67th minute, the shot-stopper pulled off a brilliant save to deny Luyola Nomandela.
SuperSport went ahead in the 71st minute as Free State Stars' BokangTlhlone unfortunately turned the ball into his own net, following a cross from Bradley Grobler.
Ouro-Akoriko tried his luck from distance in the 82nd minute but the Stars fired well wide of the target.
Thuso Phala came close to adding a third four minutes later but Motsoeneng pulled off a fine stop to deny the winger, as SuperSport held on for the win.
