AmaZulu have confirmed that the Premier Soccer League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) has ruled in the club’s favour on the matter involving Mohammed-Awal Issah.
The Ghanaian, who joined the KZN side this season after spending time overseas, disappeared after making two starts in the league for Craig Rosslee’s team.
The midfielder was on his second spell with Usuthu.
“The PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled in favour of AmaZulu on a recent dispute the club lodged against its former Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Issah-Awal for breach of contract,” amazulufc.net revealed.
The club’s General Manager, Peter O’Connor revealed that they are pleased with the outcome of the DRC.
“We’re pleased with the finding of the PSL DRC. This confirms our viewpoint all along that the player breached contractual agreements with us when he left for his country without following the necessary channels in informing us on more than one occasion,” O’Connor told the club’s official website.
