Word reaching the Siya crew is that South Africa U20 defender and Orlando Pirates development player,Tebogo Moerane, has attracted interest from various PSL teams.
According to sources, Moerane, who currently plays for Vodacom League team North West Shining Stars, has attracted interest from Ajax Cape Town, Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United.
Moerane’s agent Paul Mitchell confirmed to the Siya crew that several PSL teams are keen to sign the talented 18-year-old left back.
“Yes, several PSL clubs have contacted me with a view of signing Tebogo. I’m currently engaged with one of them and hopefully the negotiations will be concluded before the end of the week,” Mitchell told the crew.
“We have agreed to keep the identity of the club I’m talking to until we have reached an agreement. The club would then make an official announcement once the player has signed,” concluded Mitchell.
Moerane was one of the shining stars for Amajita during last year’s Cosafa U20 Championship in Lesotho, which Shakes Mashaba’s team won.
