National First Division club Mbombela United has completed the signing of Siyanda Khumalo for the team’s second half of the season.

Khumalo is joining Mbombela as a free agent for his second spell with the club. The midfielder, who was with Royal Eagles in the first half of the season, recently parted ways with the KwaZulu-Natal club.  

“Siyanda Khumalo has signed for Mbombela United. He has signed a deal to run until the end of the season. The player has joined Mbombela after the termination of his contract with Royal Eagles by mutual agreement,” said the source.

Meanwhile, Mbombela are scheduled to play against Mthatha Bucks at the Mthatha Stadium this afternoon. The Mpumalanga outfit is fourth on the NFD log with 28 points – nine behind Highlands Park at the top of the standings.
