A brace from former Sundowns man, Rodney Ramagalela helped Rise and Shine clinch three points against the African champions.

Molekwa was pleased that his also got the opening goal of the game after Sundowns dominated early on.

"That is the goal that we needed. We know Sundowns is a good team, they can play the ball, their movements are also good," Molekwa told SuperSport after the game.

"I told my players the only way we can win this game is to stay compact. We don't lose because at the end of the day, they are going to open and we get them on the counter.

"Pound-to-pound my players tried everything. I'm also thankful for Rama (Ramagalela) for taking those chances, but there is still room for improvement, we still have to work harder. It's not only two games, we still got 28 games to play, but two games and four points is better."
