Rise and Shine fell to a second successive defeat in the Absa Premiership after going down 2-0 to the Brazilians on Tuesday evening.
Vukuzic felt Sundowns' experience and quality came to fore and guided them to victory on the night.
“I have to congratulate our opponent for the win. I think we played well. We had big opportunities to score before halftime,” Vukuzic told SuperSport.
“We conceded a soft goal on a set-piece and they were difficult for us. We tried everything. In the second half we became more offensive. The second goal was also very easy.
“It was tough for us because after the second goal they were playing for a result, they showed the experience. I think they showed us their quality. We played some youngsters in the team, three or four, I’m confident that our rewards will come."
