Usuthu confirmed on the club’s official website that a deal had been agreed with Rise and Shine for the player’s move.

A deal between Polokwane City FC has been finalised for the services of KZN born striker, Sphesihle Nzimande which will see him joining AmaZulu FC on a two year contract.

The 25 year old player had this to say about his move: “It’s always been my wish to play for a club like AmaZulu, which I grew up watching as a youngster.

“With the experience I’ve gathered I believe I will be able to help the team this season,” he said.

Upfront the former Polokwane City and Royal Eagles forward will be competing with experienced goal sniffers, Siyabonga Nomvethe and Mabhuti Khenyeza – an idea the Ntuzuma-born man has welcomed.

“I didn’t think that one day I’d play with the likes of Bhele and Mabhuti and to me that’s exciting. I believe they can push everyone else with their experience.

“It’s also good that we’re sort of at the same age group with the other players and many of them listen and respect one another,” he added.
