City Promise More From New Striker
Polokwane City promise more from striker Muhmmad Sulumba in the Absa Premiership
Polokwane City have insisted that there is still more to come from their new Malawian striker Muhammed Sulumba.
The 23-year-old was one of Rise and Shine’s major signings in the January transfer window. However, it took a while for the hitman, who represented his country in the previous CHAN tournament, to feature for his new club, owing to a delay in his work permit.
Sulumba has since racked up two league appearances and currently has 57 minutes of league football under his belt. Even though he is yet to register his first league goal, City have confirmed that they are happy with what they have seen from their frontman.
“He has done well for the side and he looks positive every time he plays. The technical team know what it is they want to see from him and to my understanding I know that they are happy with the progress he has made,” said Vusi Mthimane, the clubs spokesperson.
Sulumba has also shown great energy during training so it’s a matter of time before he gets off the mark. He is a talented player and the club knows that there is more to come from him. We are happy he is here the team is happy his here so we urge our supporters to keep watching the team,” concluded Mthimane.
Meanwhile, the likes of Rodney Ramagalela and Walter Musona continue racking up the goals with 10 and six league goals respectively.
