Polokwane City Newcomer: I’m Here To Become A Household Name
Polokwane City new signing Tebogo Kalake declares he wants to become a household name in the PSL
Polokwane City newcomer Tebogo Kalake has told Soccer Laduma that he wants to become a household name in the PSL.
The 27-year-old defender was one of seven players revealed by Rise and Shine a week ago and now the former Highlands Park and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhadila FC player says he is eager to take his career to new heights.
“I’m here to become a household name,” declared Kalake to the Soccer Laduma.
“This is my opportunity to take my career to a new level. I’m grateful for the opportunity Polokwane City have given me and I intend on making the most of it. I know it going to be competitive since we have a new coach who comes in with a clean slate.
“This means that all the players will want to make an impression, both the new and the players who have been at the club since the coach doesn’t have any first-hand knowledge of all of us. I’m both excited and eager at establishing myself as a quality player,” concluded the new City defender.
Meanwhile, new Slovakian coach Jozef Vukusic has been taking the side through their paces at the club’s headquarters Polokwane City FC Village. The new arrivals who include the likes Lehlohonolo Nhlapo, Themba Chauke, Msekeli Mvalo and Muhammed Anas have all been part of the pre-season preparations under Vukusic and his assistant, Bernard Molekwa.
