Polokwane City Jabulani Maluleke Festive Message

Polokwane City veteran defender Jabulani Maluleke has pleaded with supporters to exercise responsibility over the festive season.

Speaking to Soccer Laduma the 35-year-old noted that people tend to reckless over the holiday season but has pleaded with football supporters to be responsible in their actions.

“I would like to tell people to take care of themselves and their families over the festive season. It’s important that we become extra vigilant and safe on the roads and in all the other recreational activities we will be engaging during the holidays,” noted Maluleke.

“Crime tends to escalate during this time of year so it’s important for people to be extra alert and responsible. This is a time for us to be with our families and to spread festive cheer to those who need it the most,” added the midfielder.

Maluleke has been a pivotal member of Rise and Shine’s squad for the past five seasons. In the current campaign he has made 13 starts out of his 14 appearancesand  he has combined well with striker Rendani Ndou.

City are currently in 13th spot and will look to improve on their standing when they resume their league campaign in the new year.
