In preparation for the 2019/20 season, Polokwane City have bolstered the the side's defence with the signing of a goalkeeper, as the club prepares to challenge as one of the top eight teams in the Absa Premiership.
Jomo Cosmos goalkeeper, Mwenya Chibwe, has confirmed that he is leaving the National First Division club for Rise and Shine.
The 25-year-old has confirmed penning a three-year deal with the Limpopo outfit.
“Yes it’s true I’ve moved to Polokwane City. I signed a three-year deal with them and I’m hoping to make the best of this opportunity because it’s very important to my career,” Chibwe confirmed on Cosmos’ official website.
The shot-stopper has been the first choice goalkeeper for Ezenkosi and been impressive with his performances during his first season with the club, after joining from Platinum Stars last year, currently known as Cape Umoya United.
