Result: Polokwane City 2-0 Ajax Cape Town

Polokwane City got their first win in the PSL, as they saw off Ajax Cape Town at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, winning 2-0.
Lebogang Manyama took a shot from a free kick in the 5th minute but it went wide to the right.
In the 12th minute Manyama tried again from a free kick, but Modiri Marumo was able to punch clear.
Essau Kanyenda went close from a corner taken by Galabgwe Moyana in the 27th minute, but his shot went over the bar.
Polokwane City went 1-0 in the 40th minute, as Thapelo Tshilo slotted the ball home past Brandon Peterson in the Ajax goal.
Tshilo had to leave the field with a serious head injury minutes later, and was replaced by Prince Hlela, and at half-time the home team led 1-0.
Bantu Mzwakali had a chance in the 50th minute from a corner, but his header went wide of the Polokwane City goal.
Mzwakali had another chance in the 68th minute but his shot was dealt with by Marumo.
Polokwane City made it 2-0 in the 70th minute as substitute Siphesihle Nzimande received the ball from Kanyenda and slotted it home.
Manyama tried another shot in the 79th minute but Marumo was there to make the stop, and four minutes later another Manyama attempt saw the same result.
In the 89th minute Marumo once again was there to stop Manyama as he tried to shoot again.
